THE BRITISH BOMBARDMENT OF MANILA IN 1762 COMPLETED THE DESTRUCTION OF THE COLLEGE, SO ITS PENSIONERS WERE TRANSFERRED TO SANTA ISABEL COLLEGE WITH THE CHANGE OF SOVEREIGNTY STATE SUPPORT STOPPED AND SANTA POTENCIANA COLLEGE PASSED OUT OF EXISTENCE.
