FORMER SITE OF PHILIPPINE MILITARY ACADEMY
FORMALLY OCCUPIED BY THE PHILIPPINE MILITARY ACADEMY FROM JUNE 15, 1936 TO DECEMBER 12, 1941. HERE, EIGHT PMA CLASSES, 1937–1945 UNDERWENT CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, ACADEMIC, MILITARY, PHYSICAL, MORAL AND SPIRITUAL TRAINING. THE OUTBREAK OF WORLD WAR II, FORCED THE CORPS OF CADETS TO EVACUATE THE PLACE FOR CALL OF DUTY IN DEFENDING THEIR MOTHERLAND. GRADUATES OF THIS ACADEMY ALSO SERVED WITH PRIDE IN THE PACIFIC WAR, ANTI-DISSIDENCE AND COUNTER-INSURGENCY CAMPAIGNS, AND THE RESISTANCE MOVEMENTS. TODAY, THE PHILIPPINE MILITARY ACADEMY CONTINUES TO BE THE SHRINE OF OUR NATIONAL SECURITY AT ITS PERMANENT HOME AT FORT DEL PILAR, BAGUIO CITY.
