LADISLAO DIWA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
TO THE MEMORY OF LADISLAO DIWA, PATRIOT, EDUCATOR, ONE OF THE FOUNDERS OF THE KATIPUNAN IN 1892, ONE OF THE SIGNERS OF THE PROCLAMATION OF THE PHILIPPINE INDEPEDENCE ON 12 JUNE 1898, FIRST CIVIL GOVERNOR OF CAVITE AND LEADER IN THE PHILIPPINE REVOLUTION.
BORN IN SAN ROQUE, CAVITE ON 27 JUNE 1863. DIED IN CARIDAD, CAVITE ON 12 MARCH 1930.
THIS MONUMENT WAS ERECTED AND DEDICATED BY PATRIOTIC CITIZENS AND TEACHERS ON 30 NOVEMBER 1964, THE DAY THIS SCHOOL RENAMED IN HIS HONOR.
